Donate now for a resilient organic farming movement in the Midwest.
Small and mid-scale farmers steward the land and feed our communities, but their livelihoods are at risk. In the last thirty years, Big Ag bought up a staggering 90 million acres of U.S. cropland. The consolidation of power and money across the food system is making it impossible for small and mid-scale farmers to compete—and raises the barriers of entry for new and historically underserved farmers.
Right now, we have a window of opportunity to act. In the Midwest, nine percent of farmland is slated to transfer hands as farmers retire. Strong, equitable land access programs—and the resources to support them—are critical right now.
Donate today to support MOSES' land access programs that connect retiring and beginning farmers; facilitate land transfers with assistance from our Land Access Navigators; and advance policy engagement on issues of farmer credit and land access equity.
Donate $25 or more and you'll receive a limited-edition pair of custom snuggle socks made by our friends at Maggie's Organics!
